Washington County Recent Arrest Feeds
No single list holds every arrest in Washington County. Instead, several official feeds each answer one question. The sheriff's office runs the Washington County Detention Center and posts the county custody records. Its detention menu links a current roster, a rolling intake report, and a detainee charge list. Fayetteville and Springdale publish city police arrest information of their own. Farmington posts no comparable public blotter. So the agency name and the custody stage matter as much as the person's name.
For fresh county bookings, the intake report is the clearest view. It spans the last three days. Release values appear there when the jail has them. Washington County does not publish a separate 24-hour feed. A same-day search means checking intake times inside that rolling report. A wider look keeps the full three-day span.
| Official source | Custody stage | Window and photo |
|---|---|---|
| WCSO detailed roster | Current or recent county custody | Portal population; no image in list, possible image in detail |
| WCSO intake report | Newly processed intake and release | Rolling last three days; no photo column |
| Fayetteville P2C | City police arrest interface | Recent interface; photo presentation observed |
| Springdale Arrest Logs | City police arrest entries | Current table; no photo column observed |
| VINE | Custody status and alerts | Status service, not a booking-photo source |
When Washington County Arrests Post
Booking takes time. An officer can make an arrest long before detention staff finish the county intake record. Staff have to receive the person and log identifying details. They enter the booked charges, process property, handle medical or safety needs, and close out the jail record. The Washington County detention FAQ says booking and release times simply vary. No fixed posting delay is promised. The intake report carries a last-updated stamp. That mark belongs to the report snapshot alone.
Check the timestamp first. A missing name is not proof that no arrest occurred. Then compare the current roster with the individual detail record. If timing is urgent, call detention at (479) 444-5830. Have the full name and a rough booking time ready. For a focused same-day method, see Arrested Today. The broader three-day read belongs in Arrest Reports.
Washington County Roster Search
The official WCSO detailed roster is the main current-custody source. Its alphabetic list shows name, age, race, sex, prior bookings, intake, and bond. Use the booking facts together. A common name alone can match more than one person. Bond is a release condition, not a fine. The roster page shows a Washington County arrest record. It presents that record in list form.
The roster is built for name searches. It works well for that job. Booking photographs do not appear in a grid on this list.
| Roster field | How to use it |
|---|---|
| Name | Match spelling, then verify with other fields. |
| Age, race, sex | Use only as displayed to separate similar names. |
| Prior bookings | Portal value only; not a conviction count. |
| Intake | County processing date and time. |
| Bond | Booked custody value, subject to later court action. |
- Start with the last name in the official alpha roster.
- Confirm the first name, demographics, intake, and bond.
- Open the linked detail record for status, charges, court data, and a photo when available.
- Check the displayed update time and call detention if a fresh booking may still be processing.
Washington County Booking Photo Details
Washington County splits arrest records into a list and a detail page. The alpha roster has no photo column. Open an individual record, though. An "Image: Mugshot" field may appear beside status, arresting agency, charges, court, court date and time, release information, and bond. So a person can sit on the roster with no photo visible on the first screen. The official detainee detail page shows that layout.
Update stamps can differ from one WCSO page to the next. The roster, intake report, and detail view each carry their own time. That proves no fixed schedule. Every result needs its own source and timestamp. A released person can also drop off a current list while the agency still keeps the booking record. Time marks and custody status move at different speeds.
Washington County Booking App Access
The app is a second access channel. Its branding has shifted over time. The Apple listing for Washington County Sheriff (AR) advertises recent arrests, the inmate roster, mugshots and booking details, warrants, most wanted, VINE, alerts, anonymous tips, and record requests. Google Play uses a different name and provider. Older county releases pointed to an earlier app package. The live store listing is therefore more reliable than an old download name. The Washington County Sheriff app listing lays out that full feature set.
If an app listing, provider, or feature shifts, the web roster stays the official verification path. VINE does something narrower. It notifies you about one person's custody status. It is not a mugshot archive. After registration, the Arkansas service can send release or transfer alerts, though a fresh intake may take time to reach it. The dedicated VINE Arrest Check covers that path and its limits.
Washington County App Listing Changes
The app story keeps shifting. iOS and Google Play listings come from different providers, and the package history is not shared between them. The county's older release named yet another app entirely. Treat that as a hint, not a promise. Follow the current county route or the store listing, check the publisher and features, and never assume an old package still works. Even a working app is only a convenience layer. The WCSO web record and detention staff remain the real sources for custody. Alerts, tips, wanted-person tools, and records requests may move between versions. No app screen outranks a newer dated WCSO record.
Washington County Arrests by City
City arrest logs and county jail rosters differ. Fayetteville Police Department runs P2C, which shows recent arrest information and wider event searches. Springdale keeps a compact arrest table. It lists date, name, age, charges, and address, with no photo column. Farmington Police Department posts no public arrest log, so start with the county intake and roster there. The department or court fills the gaps.
- Fayetteville Recent Arrests: compare FPD P2C with WCSO custody.
- Springdale Recent Arrests: account for the city’s Washington and Benton county boundary.
- Farmington Recent Arrests: use the county fallback because no city police blotter was found.
A city arrest does not prove county custody. The person may have been released, transferred, or booked somewhere else entirely. Some never enter the Washington County Detention Center. Confirm the arresting agency and booking destination on the official record.
Washington County Booking Feed Differences
The three cities give three different search experiences. Fayetteville's P2C can show image elements, yet it answers an FPD arrest question rather than a live jail-population question. Springdale's log has useful arrest fields but no photo column. The city also straddles county lines. Its name alone cannot prove which jail handled an incident. Farmington offers no feed, only a fallback.
Local news adds context, not completeness. Fayetteville Flyer publishes event-driven crime stories, while 5NEWS and NWAOnline cover regional cases and Washington County News has reported on sheriff technology and public safety. A story may run well after a booking. It may skip routine arrests entirely, and its image may be editorial or agency-supplied. Current status lives with WCSO and the courts.
Washington County Arrest Record Fields
A booking record documents intake and custody, nothing more. It is not the full criminal case. Washington County's individual record can pair a portal key or booking number with identity fields, intake data, the arresting agency, booked charges, bond, court metadata, release status, and a booking photograph when available. Some values may sit blank or change later. For requesting a file, the booking number works best.
| Field | What the Washington County record means |
|---|---|
| Booking number | WCSO record key for a specific intake. |
| Intake date and time | When the detention system processed the person. |
| Arresting agency | Agency credited in the jail record. |
| Charge and count | Accusation as booked, not a court result. |
| Bond | Custody or release value then shown. |
| Court and next date | Booking metadata to confirm with the court. |
| Release or status | Custody state, not guilt or case disposition. |
| Booking photograph | Image on an individual detail record when provided. |
Washington County Bond and Release
Bond, release, and disposition are three separate events. The WCSO detail record may hold clues to each. Look for a bond value, a current-or-released status, and a next court date. Posting bond changes custody without resolving the charge. Release means the person left that custody status, not that the case ended. A blank release field may point to one thing. The person was still held when the report was generated.
What does a court date on the jail record prove? It flags a scheduled event the booking system knows about. The hearing may have moved. The result stays hidden. Check the event and docket through Arkansas courts. Do that especially when the jail page and court page show different dates.
- Booking
- The jail’s intake and creation of a custody record.
- Bond
- A court-set condition or amount tied to release.
- Arraignment
- A court stage where charges and a plea are addressed.
- Disposition
- The recorded outcome of a charge or case.
- Detainer
- A hold request from another authority, not a new conviction.
Washington County Jail Count Limits
The WCSO charge list captures one moment in time. It lists 165 rows. That count includes offense names plus holds, commitments, failure-to-appear entries, and court-process labels. None of it works as an annual arrest total. One person can carry multiple charge rows, and the detained population may include people held for another department, committed to ADC, or held on contract. The official detainee charge list shows why any jail count needs context.
The visible categories describe a live jail population snapshot, not a ranked crime trend.
Washington County monthly detention reports and Fayetteville annual reports use set periods and different measures. Intakes, average daily population, custodial arrests, and DWI arrests each keep their own label. Mixing them builds a false total. Record the agency first. Then note the date range and measure before comparing.
Washington County Detention Report Measures
The county's monthly detention report covered February 16 through March 15, 2026, comparing intakes, prison transports, average high count, state-prisoner average daily population, federal-prisoner average daily population, pretrial average daily population, and county commitments with a prior-year period. Fayetteville's FY24 report separately counted custodial arrests, other arrests, and DWI arrests. Each figure belongs to its named agency, measure, and period.
A detention population is not an arrest total. Average daily population measures occupied custody over time. Intake counts measure processing events. A prison transport records movement. A city arrest count is not a county intake. Keep those labels intact, and a local snapshot stays a snapshot instead of a false trend.
After Washington County Arrest Booking
Booking is only the start of the paper trail. After a Washington County arrest, the sheriff's roster may attach court dates and charge details. Hearing labels come with them. The case itself lives elsewhere. For anything past the booking stage, use Search ARCourts and the Washington County Circuit Clerk. Search by participant name or case number. Then confirm the county, court division, docket entries, and hearing dates. A name-only match can be weak when two people share the same name. Farmington District Court runs a much narrower search. The city says it covers citations issued in City Court. It also sets its own fees and response rules. It is not a countywide criminal-case index. The same warning applies to documents. A police arrest report, a jail booking page, and a court docket each have a different custodian. They can share a name and date while recording separate stages. Picture the sequence in order. It runs arrest, jail intake and booking photo, roster or release, first court events, then disposition. A sealed or expunged record can change public access later. If the timestamps disagree, keep each source and its clock separate.
Washington County Public Record Gaps
A blank result can mean many things. Intake may still be processing. The person may have been released, transferred, held in another facility, or listed under a different spelling. Juvenile and sealed matters stay out of public view, and Springdale's official request form states that juvenile arrest history is unavailable through its public path. One more wrinkle: the WCSO charge list includes holds and commitments that are not new local arrests. Each source has one job. The records unit handles an older or released Washington County booking. The court answers questions about the case outcome. A later custody move belongs with the proper state or federal locator. Every one of them has its own access limits. Route the question to the office that actually holds the record.
Request Washington County Arrest Records
A booking can drop off the public feed. When that happens, send a precise request through the Sheriff's Office FOI request page. WCSO also posts Records@WashCoSOAR.gov and (479) 444-5785. Records hours run Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Ask for the booking record and the booking photo as two separate items. The list can omit a photo even when the booking system holds one.
- Give the full name, approximate booking date and time, and booking number if known.
- Name the Washington County Detention Center and request the public booking record.
- Request the booking photograph separately and ask for an electronic copy.
- Ask the custodian to cite any exemption and disclose reproduction charges before work begins.
- Use the court docket for the final disposition rather than treating the booking charge as the outcome.
The accessible WCSO page posts no booking-photo fee and no guaranteed turnaround. Arkansas FOIA guidance permits specific requests through several channels. It generally allows three business days for records in active use or storage. Actual reproduction and mailing costs are extra. The custodian can explain any delay, exemption, archive transfer, or referral.
Washington County Record Fee Differences
There is no single Washington County price for records. WCSO publishes no booking-photo amount on the accessible request page. The cities go their own way. Springdale charges 12 cents per document page, $5 for a disc, and $10 for an accident report. Fayetteville notes that an online request may add a fee and separates its report types. Farmington District Court lists $5 plus 15 cents per page for non-government searches after two free pages. Those are city and court terms, not sheriff fees. Ask the actual custodian for a cost estimate before you send anything. A request aimed at the wrong office only causes delay, and it never shifts one fee schedule onto another record holder. In short, the arresting agency controls its report. WCSO controls its booking file. And the clerk controls the court record.
Farmington Court Search Boundaries
Farmington's official record-search page covers citations issued in City Court. That is its whole scope. It does not cover every Washington County criminal case. Nor does it cover every Farmington police booking. The city allows up to ten days for a FOIA response. It sets separate non-government search and copy fees. Those terms stay tied to the city court route. Circuit-level criminal cases run through Search ARCourts and the Washington County Circuit Clerk. A Farmington name match in City Court may settle a citation question. WCSO answers the county booking question. One city portal will never hold the full arrest-to-disposition history, no matter how often people assume it does.
Washington County Mugshots and Arrests
A county mugshot is a booking photograph taken during jail intake. It captures how a person looked at that moment. In Washington County, the official alpha list has no photo column. An individual detail record may still show a mugshot. The Arkansas Department of Corrections profile works differently, since an ADC photo relates to state custody and carries an ADC number rather than a county booking number. Start with official sources. The WCSO detail answers the county booking question. The Arkansas Inmate Search covers sentenced or committed state custody, not ordinary county pretrial detention. Search ARCourts supplies case events and disposition. A local news story may use an agency photo, but coverage is selective and can lag the arrest. Unofficial pages exist too. They include Busted Newspaper's Washington County archive, RecentlyBooked's Washington County page, Arrests.org, Mugshots.zone, Current Prison List, County Jail Rosters, JailExchange, and America's Top Mugshots. Those sites may preserve old, duplicate, incomplete, or mismatched data. They do not outrank WCSO. Mugshots.com lists no Washington County page, so never substitute a different Arkansas county and call it local.
Arkansas Arrest Photo Removal Law
Arkansas lawmakers took aim at booking-photo websites with Ark. Code Ann. § 4-75-102. The statute covers publish-for-pay sites that display booking photographs. Getting a photo down starts with a written removal request. It must carry the person's name, date of birth, arrest date, and arresting agency. Once a valid request lands, the publisher confirms it at no charge and pulls the photo plus linked details within five business days. The law has limits. It cannot force every official record offline. It settles nothing about the criminal case itself.
Fix the record at its source first. WCSO errors go to Records with the booking number and the exact mistake. A sealed case needs the signed order. Copies go to the sheriff, the court custodian, the news publisher, and every republisher holding the photo. RecentlyBooked waives its fee for several categories, including dismissed, sealed, wrong-person, juvenile, duplicate, and outdated records. An accurate current public record gets no such promise. Mugshots.zone posts a removal link on its own pages.
After the source changes, an outdated-result request can ask a search engine to refresh its copy. That tool cannot erase a live page. For disputed eligibility or a sealing problem, consult a qualified Arkansas attorney.
Older Washington County Arrest Records
Arkansas Code § 13-4-404 defines jail booking records. Fingerprint cards, booking photographs, and detention logs are included. Counties must keep them at least five years. After that minimum, disposal can occur only by county judge order on the sheriff's recommendation. That rule governs agency retention. It does not promise a Washington County arrest page or photo stays on the public web for five years.
Once an entry drops off the three-day report, try the roster and the individual detail view. For a released or older booking, contact WCSO Records with the name, date, and booking number. The Washington County Archives keeps history, not live mugshots. Its published collections list no current sheriff photo database. Ask whether an older series was transferred before assuming it is searchable there.
Retention and removal are different things. A dead link proves nothing. A sealing order can restrict public access while a protected law-enforcement copy still exists, and disposal never equals deletion of every copy. An unofficial page or news story may also outlive the county's own view, so send proof to each custodian holding one.
Washington County Arrest Warrants
WCSO runs two separate tools, keeping its Warrant Search apart from the Sheriff's Most Wanted list. The Sheriff's FAQ is blunt. WCSO answers only for the warrants it handles. For warrant questions, call the Warrants Department at (479) 444-5800 on weekdays, or dispatch at (479) 444-5700 after hours. A court index may show a filing. That is not a real-time warrant-status check. Most Wanted is a separate public-safety publication. Photo practice, current count, and refresh schedule come from the live page itself. Figures in a 2019 annual report describe that period alone and should not be read as current.
Washington County Custody Routes
One arrest can land in many systems. A county booking is one record. An ADC commitment is another, and so are a federal hold and ICE custody. Washington County has housed federal and immigration detainees before. That history does not settle anyone's current status. The detention FAQ lists a separate bond line just for immigration detainees, and WCSO charge lists mark holds and commitments too.
Once state custody begins, switch to the ADC Inmate Search. Federal inmates go through the Bureau of Prisons locator, which reaches back to 1982 and offers no public mugshot field. The ICE Online Detainee Locator wants an exact A-number with country of birth, or a full name with birth date and country. A fresh transfer may not show right away. Court records still decide how a local charge ends.
Search Washington County Arrest Records
Match your search to the custody stage. The official Washington County roster comes first for anyone in custody right now. For released or older bookings, Records is the fallback. Confirm the agency and timestamp, then let the court docket settle the outcome.
